A different Star Wars?

George Lucas is known to have sought to cast Famed Japanese Actor Toshiro Mifune in the Role of Obi Wan Kenobi.In OTL Toshiro Mifune did not take on this role&as a result Alec Guiness was cast instead.What if Toshiro Mifune had agreed to play Obi Wan Kenobi?What changes might occur?Would Star Wars be mostly the same or have a greater Eastern Influence in its themes,depiction&story?Would Mifune's other films gain a greater prominence in the US&the rest of the world?Maybe Akira Kurosawa movies mainstream?

The movie might not have happened at all, IIRC Alec Guiness was a major factor in keeping the cast together through a difficult filming.
