European to Native Mexican names

Does anyone have any references or lists that compare European names to Pre-Columbian Mexican names, or names that are styled similar?

I remember a little tale by a Brazilian writer, Antonio Luiz Costa, where Spain was occupied by the Mexica and Inca.

The Mexica got the north of Spain, renaming it Caxtlitítlan (=Castille). The Inca-occupied South got the name Wantallusuy (=Andaluzia).
