Question on William Adelin and AH.

So got a couple of questions concerning William of the White ship:

First: Are there any tls that actually use this as a POD on here?

Second: From what i can tell with general Alternate history (both here and all over) it seems weird that such a pivotal moment doesnt tend to get used alot...least seems that why....Anyone know why that is?

I don't know about TLs on the site, but the survival of the Ship is used by the GURPS Infinite Worlds campaign setting writers as a POD for a world (called Centrum) that develops technology faster, almost wipes itself out, and then founds some sort of a villanous multiversal empire by the present day.

On my nook, so i cant search, but white ship was in the title and othniel?? Was the author.
